Florida Felines
2026. Acrylic on wood. 9" x 14.5".
This diptych is replicated directly from an image chosen from our own personal library in both color and black & white. This image chosen was utterly candid, depicting a natural moment in time with no staging. The image I chose shows stray cats being fed on a street in Panama City, something that a nearby neighbor says she does every day to ensure all of the local cats are taken care of. While the black and white rendering focused more on the impression of light on the scene, the panel in color shows a tighter illustration.
